Hello everyone, just joined. Started my diet about a week or two ago. it was a drastic diet change and I already lost 7 pounds. I have heard that is common in the beginning so i'm not overly excited because i still way 158 lbs. Goal wait is 130 but i'll take it 5 lbs at a time.  I have been trying very hard to cut starch-carbs, sugar (fruit too) and alcohol.  Looking to gain advice, motivation and to bounce ideas off people.

Right now I'm trying to find a great work out DVD, specifically abs and legs. ALSO anyone know great moves to slim the love handle area?

thanks so much for the advice! Im only cutting fruit for about a week or two to totally avoid sugar. Im doing the same thing with any starch carbs just to shock my system a little and boost my initial weight loss. My plan is to re-introduce good carbs, whole wheats and fruit sometime around the 4th of july.
